In his 20-plus years in advertising, Eric has worked at some of the top agencies in the country. Learning the craft at TBWA\Chiat\Day, DDB, and Hal Riney & Partners, Eric was most recently the lead creative at Deutsch and an agency owner at Pitch, a 30-person shop in Los Angeles. His portfolio comprises some of the world’s leading brands, such as General Motors, Coors Light, Saturn, California Cheese, and Volkswagen.

While at Deutsch, he was one of the key leaders in growing a 45-person boutique into a 400-person full-service agency. In doing so, he played a key role on practically every account that came through the doors, such as fully integrated campaigns for Volkswagen, Coors Light, and General Motors. During this time, he created the highest-rated Super Bowl spot of the year for two years in a row according to Nielsen ratings—“Punch Dub” for VW, and “The Force” for VW. This work earned him a coveted spot on the 2011 “50 Most Influential Creatives of the Year” list by Creativity Magazine.

He believes advertising that actually works is the reward. However, it’s not the only reward. Advertising that wins awards can be pretty rewarding, too. So, over the years, he’s grabbed as many of these as possible. Including Cannes (gold/silver/bronze) Lions, One Show (gold, silver, and bronze) Pencils, D&AD, AICP (gold), Effies and Communication Arts. His work is also on permanent display in The Advertising Hall of Fame, The Museum of Modern Art, and the Smithsonian.
